The Behringer UMC22 has a Midas preamp and the Behringer UM2 has a Xenyx preamp. The differences really are in the design/layout. The Behringer UM2 is plastic with the control knobs on the top of the Audio Interface. Where the Behringer UMC22 is metal and has the control knobs on the front of the audio interface. The audio quality of both of these USB audio interfaces is very similar. You decide which one is better for you.
